Mr. Yasir Qadri  Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Qadri has been associated with the Asset Management Industry for twelve years. He has served in his current role as CEO since October 2007 and played a driving role in the merger of MCB AMC with Arif Habib Investments. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Qadri has served as Chief Executive Officer of MCB Asset Management. He also has a brief experience in marketing research and has played an important role in launching Socio-Economic Classifications as a common currency and standard in Pakistan.

He has served twice on the Board of Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan (MUFAP), while chaired the Sub-Committees on Public Awareness, Public Relations & Education, and for Debt Pricing, also he has served as a member on Council of the Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS). He has also been a member of the  Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s (SECP) sub-committee on Voluntary Pension Schemes and subsequently Consultative Group for Capital Markets.

He earned his BBA and MBA degree from University of Central Oklahoma, USA.

Mr. Muhammad Saqib Saleem  Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer & Company Secretary

Mr. Saleem is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has over 12 years of working experience which includes over 7 years of post qualification experience with the leading institutions such as JS Investments Limited (formerly JS ABAMCO Limited), Habib Bank Limited and Atlas Asset Management Limited. Before joining the Company, Mr. Saleem was heading the Internal Audit Department of Atlas Asset Management Limited which includes Risk Management and Compliance. Mr. Saleem is serving as Chief Operational Officer & Company Secretary. He has served couple of times as member on the Professional Committees constituted by Mutual Fund Association of Pakistan.

Mr. Kashif Rafi  Senior Vice President : Head of Fixed Income

Mr. Rafi having vast experience in Fixed Income Funds is currently looking after Money Market & Income Funds along with fixed income portion of Asset Allocation Funds. He began his career with BMA Capital Management as a Money Market Dealer and later joined Security Leasing Corporation Limited for a short period as Treasury Manager. Soon he was associated with AHI as Vice President, Fixed Income Funds. He also joined JS Investments Limited as SVP where he successfully managed a wide variety of SMA’s and funds before rejoining AHI.

Mr Rafi has earned an MBA in Finance from IBA, Karachi and cleared CA Foundation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He has also cleared CFA Level 1 from CFA Institute.

Mr. Tanweer Ahmad Haral  Senior Vice President, Head of Sales & Marketing

Mr. Haral looks after the overall business development and product development functions of the Company.  With total experience spanned over 17 years in Corporate Banking, Risk Management & Asset Management industries besides managing family business, he has performed in various roles in AHIL since 2004 in Lahore & Karachi.  He is also a member of VPS sub-committee of MUFAP. Besides serving as a visiting faculty member in various business schools for the last 16 years, Tanweer is also a guest lecturer at NIPA/NIM. 

He completed his MBA (Banking Specialization) from IBA, Karachi with distinction besides completing a certificate course in Islamic Law from IIU, Islamabad. 

Mr. Muhammad Asim, CFA  Vice President, Head of Equities

Mr. Asim holds more than 8 years professional experience with over six years in the Asset Management Industry an Analyst & Equity Fund Manager. He has been managing among the most consistent outperforming funds in Equity Funds Category. He has managed funds across various strategies in both active and passive styles in both dedicated core equity and hybrid asset class funds.

Mr. Asim is an MBA with majors in Finance from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. He also holds CFA Charter from CFA Institute, USA. Asim is also serving as Director and Treasurer on the Board of CFA Association of Pakistan.

Mr. Umair Ahmed Vice President,  Chief Financial Officer

An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Mr. Ahmed started his career with M. Yousuf Adil Saleem & Co. Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) where he gained versatile experience of auditing financial and non-financial business concerns in local and international markets. Mr. Ahmed has 6 years of post qualification experience including 5 years with Arif Habib Investments Limited. Currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overall financial affairs of funds under management.
